We are looking for a Senior Java Software Developer for one of the largest European Institutions in Netherlands, Do you want to work for the EU and impact millions of citizens with the code you write? If yes, we can talk.
Please note: This role is Contract/Freelancer where you will be asked to register your own company. Our contract team can advise you in this process. Also unlike most Freelance roles in the private sector, this role is for a very long time (a couple of years). Hence 0% loss of income or ending up in between projects.

Description of Tasks:-
The Senior Software Developer shall focus on supporting the pilots and roll-out of FO solutions to the NPOs and must be familiar with the selected technical environment.
Knowledge and Skills:-
• Experience with the implementation, configuration, adaptation and roll-out of software solutions.
• Experience in front-end and back-end development using microservices, Java, Spring Boot, React/Redux and state containers
• Knowledge of security implementations like: OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, TLS, PKCS, Keycloak
• Experience with APIs such as: REST, OpenAPI, CMIS, STOMP.
• Experience with data storage/manipulation such as: JSON, JsonSchema, XML, XSLT, DTD, SQL, PDF.
• Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases such as MongoDB or MySQL.
• Experience with messaging services e.g. RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with Cloud and Microservices e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS.
• Experience with Business rules engines e.g. Camunda.
• Experience with software development in a Kubernetes-based infrastructure, networking policies, LBs, deployment strategies and cluster security
• Ability to write / maintain Docker-files, Jenkins-files and Helm charts.
• Experience with React user interface development is considered beneficial.
